Speed Stackers Competition

Tyler participated in Weber School Districts annual Math Science Olympiad a couple of weeks ago. Him and 3 other fourth graders at his school competed against 6 other fourth grade teams in Speed Stackers. Speed Stackers are light-weight plastic cups that you arrange in stacks and then take the stacks down. He received a set of these at Christmas and has been practicing ever since. He is really good at it. For the competition a 4 person team does a 3-6-3 stack and then takes it down and tags the next player. The team that does it the fastest is the winner. Tyler's team did it in about 35 seconds and took 1st place. He was so excited! Below is the video of the winning round and a picture of them with their gold medals.
