Well, last weekend was the Pocatello baseball tournament for Tyler. We left on Friday and Tyler played two games in American Falls on Friday and had two more in Pocatello on Saturday. Bryce's parents came Friday afternoon from Boise and were able to spend the weekend with us. We had a great time. First of all, Tyler's team 'Shock' won their first two games. Tyler was able to score the winning run at the last game on Friday. Boy did that pump him up!! Way to go Ty!
Then on Saturday, Brayden had two games in Tremonton. Brayden was able to spend the night with one of his teammates, Nick, whose dad is the coach. So he was able to ride with them to the games on Saturday morning. Jennette and I and Ellie left Blackfoot (where our hotel was) and drove an hour and a half to Tremonton to see Brayden play. I was glad to have Jennette with me so I didn't have to travel alone with Ellie. Brayden's team won their first game, but lost the second one. We traveled back to Pocatello after his games and made it in time to see Tyler's last game. It turned out that Tyler's team won all 4 of their games and were able to be in the championship game that night. The scary thing was that they were playing against the team that Tyler used to be on, Team Rock.
Tyler was very nervous and so was I. Our team tried our best but ended up losing 9-0. We stuck with them the first couple of innings, but couldn't seem to deliver at the plate. It was an awesome experience for the team and they will be better prepared to play Team Rock next time. Overall, we had a fun weekend of baseball. Way to go boys! :)
